“My name is Ken Lowery, my wife and I live in Langley. I just want to thank Dustin Sandover for the new laminate floor he installed in our downstairs area this week. Dustin also sanded and refinished our hardwood floors upstairs last year. He did an excellent job in both cases, in the time frame he promised and was very professional. I will recommend Sandover Floors to all my family and friends.”

“Twelve years ago I purchased an old Maple Ridge Farm house. Much of the fir floors were exposed while some areas had been covered with carpet. The living room had a 12’x10′ foot section of the fir cut out out (likely due to wear or damage) and in filled with MDFsheetind. An area rug covered this section for years. Last fall I decided it was time to refinish the original fir floors, with hopes of adding additional character to my old home. When I pulled up the carpeting that I had replaced several years ago I was reminded how rough the floors were. Paint spillage and additional patches. Nonetheless I was determined to restore all rooms. Understanding the fir was 96 years old, I was pragmatic with my expectations while at the same time desirous and excited about the idea of the character distressed floors can add to my home. What was important to me, was bringing the original fir back and I was prepared to accept whatever look I would get with the refinishing. The bonus for me was to have the 12’x10′ section in the living room reinstated by removing the MDF and replacing with reclaimed fir. I made a couple of calls to hardwood refiners and asked them to come by to review and provide a quote for this project. One well established firm said that what I was looking for could not be done and they really were not interested in taking on this challenge. They said I would not be happy with the result.
Sandover Floors (Dustin) on the other hand were not only willing, they saw the potential, they happened to have 3/4” fir material in their shop to do the repairs. I held my breath when I asked Dustin “How Much”. It was less than covering the floors with carpet.
Within the week, Dustin got busy and after just a few days completed the task to my delight. The living room and dining room on the main floor were finished with merely a blemish. The 12×10 foot repair was picture framed and exceeded my expectations. It is actually the focal point of the main floor. The stairs and upper 4 bedrooms and hallway took on a very unique rustic, distressed look. It was a look that you could not create if you tried. To say that I am ecstatic is an understatement.
The service provided by Sandover Floors was exceptional. Dustin understood my desire to bring back this character to my home and believe me, I was not disappointed. Thank you Dustin!”

The folks at Sandover Floors refinished the fir floors in our large living room in Port Coquitlam. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Three days from start to finish and the floors look amazing, like the day they were installed, only better. Wayne and his crew are professional, experienced tradesmen. We’d recommend their services in a second.Chris and Lynn
